Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. invites students to join its Summer Internship Program within the Howmet Engines unit.

The internship is paid, runs 40 hours per week for approximately 12 weeks, and includes engaging projects, lunch & learns, plant tours, and networking with senior leaders. Responsibilities include supporting process improvements in scheduling, order-to-pay, and supplier forecasting, with assignments across procurement and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher required.
• Must be involved in at least one extracurricular activity.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027 and May 2029.

Responsibilities

• Assist in projects focusing on process improvements for scheduling, order to pay, and supplier forecasting.
• Review current state processes and suggest and implement proposed improvements.
• Contribute to both procurement and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Howmet Aerospace Summer Internship Program, in our Howmet Engines business unit, will include engaging and impactful projects, lunch & learns presented by senior leaders, tours of our manufacturing plant & processes, networking opportunities, and fun social activities to connect with fellow interns. The internship is paid, working 40 hours a week, and is approximately12 weeks.

Responsibilities include:

Assigned projects will focus on process improvements relevant to scheduling, order to pay, and supplier forecasting. Tasks will be assigned to review current state, and both recommend and implement proposed improvements. The intern selected for this role will contribute to both the procurement and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 3.0 GPA and above.
• Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business, operations management, supply chain, engineering or relatedwith an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
