Job summary

Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. seeks an experienced Inside Sales Associate to support natural gas compression service operations by sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and expediting parts, materials, and services for compression projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in inside sales, purchasing, procurement, or a buyer role within oil and gas, with strong negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers, purchase orders, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales or procurement in oil and gas.
• Negotiation and supplier management experience; procurement know-how.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, terms, and supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requisitions and sourcing requirements.
• Issue RFQs to vendors for pricing, availability and delivery information.
• Analyze quotes and negotiate favorable terms and delivery schedules.
• Create and issue purchase orders with accurate part and pricing details.
• Monitor open orders and coordinate shipping with freight forwarders.
• Maintain vendor records, ERP data, and inventory status.
