Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Sales & Service Support Specialist to join our team, serving as the vital link between customers, sales, engineering, and operations to ensure seamless service orders, quotes, and technical support.

You will respond to inquiries, prepare accurate quotes, manage orders and documentation, and collaborate across functions to improve delivery times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, or order management in manufacturing.
• Strong technical aptitude to interpret engineering or product information.
• Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers with timely communication and follow-up.
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries and prepare quotes and cost estimates.
• Support sales with technical and commercial solutions for complex customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to existing customers.
• Track order intake, invoiced sales, and profitability for repairs and spare parts.
• Manage service center orders from receipt through quoting, repair, and invoicing.
• Monitor order progress and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support Finance by ensuring accurate and complete invoicing information.
• Prepare and coordinate quality documentation packages for customer deliveries.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, and technical solutions.
• Create, update, and validate Bills of Materials (BOM) in alignment with engineering standards.
• Maintain accurate pricing structures and technical documentation.
• Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams as needed.
• Manage vendor relationships and maintain supplier databases.
• Place and track vendor orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor vendor performance and proactively address risks or gaps.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (customer data, opportunities, order status).
• Participate in team meetings, reporting on pipeline, open items, and risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year

Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for bonuses and company-sponsored benefits.
