Job summary

Amgen seeks an Associate Finance professional to support PO creation, supplier relations, and data input in SAP Ariba and SAP ECC/S4 HANA. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and process improvement while supporting project work in R&D and manufacturing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage invoices, and ensure timely processing of financial transactions within a regulated biotech environment. A bachelor's degree and relevant procurement experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Associates degree with 4 years of procurement ops, vendor mgmt, or project coordination
• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of procurement ops, vendor mgmt, or project coordination experience
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing (if relevant).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (Downstream Buying and Invoicing) and SAP ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Creating, issuing, and managing R&D or project-related Purchase Orders (POs) within SAP Ariba and SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems.
• Facilitating new vendor inclusion, resolving PO exceptions (specs, shipment issues), and updating payment terms per the scope of work.
• Ariba Invoice Processing and SAP data input from Invoices.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Associates degree and 4 years of procurement operations, vendor management, or project coordination experience

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of procurement operations, vendor management, or project coordination experience
