Hardman Signs is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant / Expeditor to support our Purchasing Manager in Houston. This hands-on role focuses on order processing, inventory coordination, and proactive vendor research to keep production on schedule.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Production, Design, and Installation teams to meet project timelines. We value 2+ years in purchasing/expediting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, expediting, or administrative support in manufacturing or construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and PO processing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Preferred: ERP systems experience or QuickBooks for POs.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus for vendor communications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders for materials and services to meet production needs.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory teams to prevent delays.
• Reconcile receipts, POs, and invoices; resolve shortages or billing errors.
• Research and source items; maintain vendor relationships.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Production, Pre-Construction, Design, and Installation teams.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Manager.
