Job summary

Accendra Health in the United States is seeking a Director, Procurement Excellence & Transformation to lead procurement transformation, governance, and capability development across the enterprise. You will drive a multi-year roadmap and partner with senior leaders to elevate procurement maturity and performance.

The role focuses on technology modernization, spend analytics, supplier risk management, and value realization, ensuring regulatory compliance and resilience in healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA, MS Supply Chain, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline) preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement operations, category management, procurement transformation, or operational excellence.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing procurement functions, centers of excellence, transformation initiatives, or enterprise process improvement teams.
• Demonstrated success leading procurement transformation, organizational effectiveness, digital procurement, operating model redesign, or enterprise procurement initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CPM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, PMP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year Procurement Excellence and Transformation roadmap in support of the enterprise procurement strategy, enabling cost optimization, risk mitigation, organizational effectiveness, digital enablement, and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain methodologies, governance frameworks, standards, tools, and leading practices for procurement performance and consistency.
• Partner with the CPO to implement and improve the procurement operating model, governance structures, service delivery frameworks, and maturity objectives.
• Translate procurement priorities into executable programs, governance models, and capability-building initiatives.
• Assess procurement performance against benchmarks and develop capability roadmaps.
• Lead the development of annual functional priorities aligned with enterprise and procurement objectives.
• Enable direct and indirect procurement through standardized methodologies, tools, analytics, governance, and technology.
