Job summary

Minnesota Department of Administration is seeking a Special Project Manager to administer Minnesota Statute 16C.16 and oversee procurement equity initiatives. You will lead special projects, coordinate cross‑agency teams, monitor vendor performance, and provide outreach to help businesses compete for state contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in vendor management, procurement, small business certification, contract compliance, or related work.
• Knowledge of procurement statutes, rules, and policies, especially Minn. Statute 16C.16.
• Ability to communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, and statewide dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Administer Minnesota Statute 16C.16 governing targeted group, economically disadvantaged, and veteran‑owned small businesses.
• Lead special projects and coordinate teams; monitor vendor performance and resolve disputes.
• Collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and present outcomes to leadership.
