We're looking for qualified candidates to join X-energy's Engineering Procurement team. This role is responsible for the implementation of the supply chain process and can act as primary liaison with key suppliers and company stakeholders. Experience in nuclear or power generation is preferred.

Pay Range:

Level III: $117,000 - $150,650

Level V: $151,200- $193,200 based on experience

Location: Rockville, MD (DMV area) - onsite - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE

Travel Expectations: 25% depending on project requirements

Hours: Standard office hours are 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday -Friday

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or Science.
• For LEVEL III: Typically, five years of experience in an engineering or supply chain role required. Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industry. Knowledge about power plant components.
• For LEVEL V: Typically, fifteen years of experience in an engineering or supply chain role with at least seven years of supply chain experience required. Minimum of five years’ experience in the nuclear industry, experience with large construction projects or plant overhauls.
• Provide commercial and technical input to the organization to ensure documents used in a procurement are complete and the appropriate contracting strategy is being implemented.
• Experience developing negotiating strategies and leading supplier negotiations.
• Experience in developing strategic Category Management Plans to leverage spend and create value for the company/project.
• Experience related to supplier identification, development, and performance management.
• Technical knowledge about the manufacture, operation, and maintenance of typical power plant components.
