Job summary

NeoVolta Power, LLC in Georgia seeks a Procurement Engineer to drive manufacturing and operational success by managing end-to-end supply chains, from identifying material needs to coordinating global logistics. You will cultivate vendor relationships, coordinate international freight, and ensure regulatory compliance to support the Pendergrass facility.

The role requires 3+ years in procurement or logistics, ERP proficiency, and bilingual English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
  • 3+ years in procurement or logistics.
  • ERP system proficiency mandatory.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing energy storage or electrical sectors preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese with strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and source to identify BESS manufacturing requirements with production, engineering, and operations.
  • Negotiate terms on unit costs, MOQs, and lead times; manage contracts and Incoterms (DAP, FOB).
  • Manage purchase orders via ERP; track domestic and international shipments.
  • Coordinate with quality and finance to resolve NCR/RTV and supplier invoices.
  • Develop supplier relationships and conduct periodic performance reviews for improvement.
  • Maintain ERP data on inventory, lead times, and supplier masters; generate spend/cost-saving reports.

Position Summary

As a Procurement Engineer, you will drive our manufacturing and operational success by managing end-to-end domestic and international supply chains. You will oversee the entire purchasing lifecycle-from identifying material needs to managing global logistics. By cultivating vendor relationships, coordinating international freight, and ensuring regulatory compliance, you will maintain a seamless material flow to support our Pendergrass facility and SKD manufacturing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning & Sourcing: Partner with production, engineering, and operations to identify BESS manufacturing requirements. Evaluate domestic suppliers and manage the RFQ process to secure optimal pricing and quality.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Secure favorable terms regarding unit costs, MOQs, and lead times. Ensure all contracts and Incoterms (e.g., DAP, FOB) protect company interests.
  • PO Management & Logistics: Execute Purchase Orders via the ERP system. Proactively track domestic and international shipments, coordinating with carriers to mitigate disruptions and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Quality & Finance Coordination: Resolve material discrepancies (NCR/RTV) with quality teams. Partner with Finance to reconcile invoices against POs and facilitate timely payments.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and evaluate domestic supplier partnerships through periodic performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • ERP & Reporting: Maintain accurate data (inventory, lead times, supplier masters) within the ERP. Generate reports on procurement spending and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in procurement or logistics. ERP system proficiency is mandatory.
  • Industry: Manufacturing experience is preferred, specifically within the energy storage or electrical sectors.
  • Communication: Bilingual in English and Chinese with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Mindset: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).

Availability: Must be able to work on-site in Pendergrass, GA, with the flexibility to coordinate across global time zones.
