As a beacon of the Habitat for Humanity’s mission, you represent the finest example of our organization’s values and commitment to providing strength, resiliency and self-reliance through affordable housing.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with store management and staff in building and implementing a donation acquisition strategy for growing a diverse donor pool that supports ReStore sales goals.

Ensures donor acquisition and retention plans are aligned with store priorities as defined by store management.

Identify, contact, and cultivate new donor relationships using tools such as CRM software, business directories, and community connections.

Represent the Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity and ReStore group to local agencies and the business community at large to generate visibility and secure donor commitments.

Work with staff, customers, board members and affiliate partners to connect, identity and request referrals for donor opportunities.

Perform outside sales in the form of cold calling and prospecting local businesses, conducting site visits as needed with prospective and existing donors.

Attend networking, outreach, and business after-hours events, including trade shows, to generate awareness and solicit donor opportunities.

Track donor interactions and data to support retention and recognition efforts.

Collaborate with volunteers, board members, and affiliate staff to generate leads and enhance outreach.

Cover the donation hotline and email box, giving prompt customer service to current and prospective donors.

Actively manage the donation portal: approve and schedule pickups, communicate with donors, and respond promptly to inquiries.

Provide direction and collaborate with the donation and driver teams daily to ensure we provide a memorable experience.

Maintain a presence in the community as a visible ambassador of Habitat’s mission and impact.

Existing network “book of business” of local contacts is highly desirable.

This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for local travel to donors. Fuel or mileage expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
