Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is building an advanced manufacturing facility for monoclonal antibodies and bioconjugates in Goochland County, Virginia. The Utilities Engineer will establish and maintain reliable clean utility systems and support grey systems for biotech manufacturing, ensuring in-control processes and ongoing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Utility Engineering Teams, preferably in a manufacturing GMP environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for visas or work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety rules and helping improve safety culture.
• Provide clean system engineering expertise as an active member of area team.
• Maintain clean system unit operations and equipment in a qualified and reliable state.
• Establish and monitor critical parameters for clean systems to keep them in control.
• Lead troubleshooting to resolve unit operations, equipment and operational issues.
• Support the grey utility.
• Provide engineering support for facility start-up and operational readiness.
