Job summary

Vizient in Irving, TX is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead indirect spend strategies from needs identification through delivery. Qualifications

Summary

In this role, you will implement procurement strategies, from initial identification of procurement needs through delivery, for indirect goods and services. You will assist with execution of short-term and long-term strategies that align with the company goals for reducing costs, managing risk and meeting company financial goals. You will negotiate, coordinate and assure that assigned indirect spend categories and services are purchased at the best possible cost. You will assess near-term and long-term plans to establish supplier priorities balanced with business needs; consult with management and other subject experts to develop alternative solutions, advise on options, risks, total cost of ownership and business impact.

• Ability to think strategically and independently.
• Experience with contract legal terms and conditions.
• Possess strong project management, facilitation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build strategic supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.
