You will assess spend and develop strategies to optimize value across business units. The role requires 7+ years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage contracts and supplier relationships in a global context.

Qualifications

Summary: In this role, you will implement procurement strategies, from initial identification of procurement needs through delivery, for indirect goods and services. You will assist with execution of short-term and long-term strategies that align with the Company goals for reducing costs, managing risk and meeting company financial goals. You will negotiate, coordinate and assure that assigned indirect spend categories and services are purchased at the best possible cost. You will assess near-term and long-term plans to establish supplier priorities balanced with business needs; consult with management and other subject experts to develop alternative solutions, advise on options, risks, total cost of ownership and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category to optimize business efficiency.

Salary & Benefits

Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
