Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Senior Analyst, Global Procurement Strategy to transform complex procurement data into actionable insights. You will design and maintain BI assets, dashboards, reports, and data models to enable strategic sourcing decisions.

You will partner with business leaders to translate needs into analytical solutions, analyze multi-source data for trends and risks, and drive governance and best practices across global procurement analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in data analytics/related field.
• 3+ years in reporting, BI, or data analytics roles.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and derive insights.
• Experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of BI solutions: dashboards, reports, scorecards, data visualizations.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into analytical solutions.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.
• Develop data models, governance, and data quality standards.
• Drive BI projects and mentor analysts in best practices.
