Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to help maintain accurate, organized purchasing data and reliable procurement processes. You will support teams with informed decision-making while upholding high standards of accuracy and accountability across the supply chain.

The role focuses on data entry, daily reporting, and collaboration with purchasing agents regarding inventory and costs. This is a first-shift, on-site position in Indiana emphasizing accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, math, communication and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Data Entry, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to create charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Enter all receiving date relating to all direct materials.
• Enter all receiving data relating to all indirect materials such as operating supplies, PPE, vaccines, etc. used.
• Assist in all issues of direct materials to production.
• Develop and prepare charts and graphs showing dollar amount usage by department of indirect operating supplies and PPE.
• Develop and prepare charts and graphs showing dollar amount usage by department of direct materials.
• Communicate daily with purchasing agents showing status of inventory and costs.
• Manage and control all issues of indirect materials, operating supplies, PPT etc. to production.
• Develop daily reports for purchasing agents showing status of inventory and costs.
