Job summary

NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services seeks an agency attorney to join the Office of General Counsel to handle procurement-related matters from inception through contract registration. The role includes litigation support with the Law Department and cross-training with other OGC attorneys.

The candidate will provide legal counsel on complex procurement issues, work with operating units, and advise OCP on bid responsiveness, vendor responsibility, and PPB rules.

Qualifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• One year of post-admission U.S. legal experience or two years at Assignment Levels I/II for AL II/III consideration.
• Incumbents must remain members of the New York State Bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Act as counsel on procurement and contract interpretation and enforcement.
• Collaborate with operating units to meet business needs.
• Advise the Office of Citywide Procurement on bid responsiveness and contract issues.
