JD Power is seeking a Senior Director of Procurement & Sourcing to lead the global procurement function, focusing on technology, software, and indirect spend. This remote role supports North America, Europe, and other regions and reports to the Chief Accounting Officer.

The role requires a strong track record in IT/software procurement, strategic negotiation, and vendor management, with 12+ years in procurement and at least 5 years in leadership. MBA or CPSM/CIPS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in procurement or vendor management, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• Global or multi-region procurement experience; European exposure.
• Strong IT/software procurement background (SaaS, licensing).
• Proven contract negotiation, cost optimization, supplier performance.
• Strategic thinker with cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA or CPSM/CIPS asset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the global procurement and sourcing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead sourcing for technology, software, and professional services, incl. enterprise systems, SaaS, infrastructure contracts.
• Build and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, performance, and compliance.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Operations to optimize supplier lifecycle management and risk mitigation.
• Establish category management frameworks and KPIs for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Drive procurement best practices across regions with local flexibility.
• Oversee global RFP processes, contract negotiations, and renewal strategies.
• Support procurement governance, supplier diversity initiatives, and ESG sourcing goals.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of sourcing professionals.

We'reseekingan experienced and strategic Director/Senior Director, Procurement & Sourcing to lead our global procurement function, with a focus on driving efficiency, governance, and value across our technology, software, and indirectspendcategories. Reporting to the VP, Finance & FP&A, this leader will shapesourcingstrategy, oversee vendor management, and partner closely with business and IT leaders tooptimizespendacross regions.

This role requires a mix of operational excellence, strategic negotiation, and stakeholder management, with an ability to navigate complex vendor ecosystems across North America and Europe.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute the global procurement and sourcing strategy aligned with corporateobjectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing global or multi-region procurement, ideally with exposure to European markets.
• Strong background in IT/software procurement - SaaS, enterprise systems, licensing, and managed services.
• Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.
• Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-drivenor global enterprise environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This position has a starting salary range of $207,000 - $267,000 USD per year. The range represents what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee's pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organization needs, and geographic location.
