Job summary

Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma is seeking a Procurement Officer to oversee tribal procurement, contract development, and vendor management. This full‑time role collaborates with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate requisitions, compliance with federal regulations, and proper fund usage.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and preferably a Bachelor's in Administration or Accounting; knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200, FARS and budget oversight is essential.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Accounting preferred.
• Experience with procurement policies and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations and tribal policy.
• Develop purchasing policies and procedures for lawful use of funds.
• Prepare requisitions with fund coding and signatures.
• Review receipts and monthly statements for accuracy.
• Negotiate and administer contracts and service agreements.
