Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management for PV and BESS projects, with emphasis on eBOS. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to identify supplier needs, scout potential suppliers, and manage RFPs.

This hybrid role requires regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA, with additional in-office locations in Denver, CO or Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Supply Chain Mgmt, Business Admin, Electrical Engineering).
• Experience in category management, sourcing, and supplier relationship management in PV/BESS industries.
• Strong negotiation and contract terms skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to define supplier requirements and scout potential suppliers.
• Develop and execute competitive RFPs, analyze responses, and award contracts.
• Negotiate Master Supply Agreements to achieve favorable terms, pricing, lead times, and quality.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and manage supplier performance.
