Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Category Manager - HR Services to own the global HR procurement category. You will lead critical initiatives, manage elevated risk, and drive material business impact without direct people management responsibilities, often guiding cross‑functional teams.

You will develop and execute strategies, oversee high‑value sourcing, serve as a global SME, and influence senior stakeholders while supporting the Team Leader when needed. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10–12+ years of progressive procurement experience with HR/Professional Services focus.
• Demonstrated success managing global or complex categories.
• Strong commercial judgment and risk management capability.
• Ability to lead without authority in matrixed organizations.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.

Your Role:

TheCategory Manager - HR Services owns end‑to‑end responsibility for a global HR procurement category. The roleoperatesas a recognized subject matter expert, leading critical initiatives, managing elevated risk and complexity, and delivering material business impact.This role does not include formal people‑management responsibilities but may leadcross‑functional teams and initiatives.

The estimated base salary for this position is $108,000 to $130,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
