Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Procurement Category Manager will be a critical part of a growing Procurement Team and play an important role in partnering with stakeholders and vendors to deliver a best-in-class procurement experience. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about procurement and strategic sourcing principles, skilled at leading contract negotiations, organized, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and optimize vendor performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational goals and act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and vendors.
• Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Facilitate RFX processes to ensure transparency and competitiveness in vendor selection.
• Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements, especially in AI, to identify new vendor opportunities and drive innovation.
• Create and present reports with actionable insights to guide decision-making.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, including sourcing strategies, RFX analysis, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
• Proven experience influencing strategy, decision-making, and achieving results.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
• Analytical, judgment, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives and manage cross-functional teams.

We support a hybrid work environment with locations in Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; and Santiago, Chile. Employees are expected to work in-office 2-3 days a week, with perks such as lunch, stipends, and snacks.

Our salary range for this role in San Francisco, CA, is $151,000 to $178,000. We disclose salary ranges to promote transparency and consider geographic cost of labor.
