Job summary

Gainor Staffing is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead supplier qualification, negotiations, contracts, and commercial execution for critical infrastructure projects in Denver. This on-site role requires deep expertise in mechanical or electrical equipment procurement and a track record of managing long-lead equipment and POs.

You will partner with Engineering and Construction to keep equipment on schedule, identify supplier risks early, and ensure costs and performance remain tightly

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of procurement, supply chain, or commercial management in construction/infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with supplier negotiations, contracts, POs, change orders, and long-lead equipment.
• Data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Expertise in mechanical or electrical equipment procurement.

• Manage POs, change orders, supplier performance, and cost risks.
• Track manufacturing, testing, logistics, and delivery schedules.

Who You Are

• You have 8–15+ years of procurement, supply chain, or commercial management experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering required

What You’ll Do

What Success Looks Like

• Long-lead equipment is procured and delivered in line with project schedules
• Commercial and supplier risks are identified and addressed early
• Contracts, costs, and supplier performance remain well controlled

Salary Range

$150,000 - 170,000 annually, based on experience
