Onward Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage day-to-day purchasing activities for projects. You will develop RFP definitions, create bid packages, and communicate with suppliers to obtain documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities include PO maintenance, leading bid/award processes, and coordinating supplier documentation. You will support the project team with status reports and invoice processing while learning the QMS framework.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related purchasing experience.
• Attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Purchase Order maintenance.
• Oversee bid and award process within project procurement team.
• Primary contact with suppliers during production phase.
• Provide status reports to project team.
• Coordinate supplier documents and drawings.
• Support accounts payable with supplier invoices.
