Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or a technical field.
• 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain with leadership responsibility.

• Strong negotiation skills from corporate sourcing experience.
• Experience leading cross-divisional or cross-functional teams.
• Experience writing RFPs, RFIs and RFQs to suppliers.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and project management skills.
• Strong influencing skills to lead teams and partner with Credit One Bank’s supply base.
• Deep understanding of procurement best practices, category management, spend analytics, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing methodologies.

Position Summary

The Assistant Vice President of Procurement provides enterprise-wide leadership for strategic sourcing and procurement across direct and indirect spend categories. This role develops and executes procurement strategies that optimize cost, manage risk, strengthen supplier performance, and create business value for Credit One Bank.

As a strategic partner to senior executives, the AVP collaborates with leaders across the organization to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives and needs to drive operational excellence and deliver measurable results. The position requires a highly influential leader who combines strategic vision with strong execution capabilities, while developing a high-performing, lean procurement team.

• Lead enterprise procurement, sourcing, and category management strategies to optimize cost, value, risk, and supplier performance.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or another technical field, preferred.
• 10 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain experience, including leadership responsibility.
• 5 years of strategic sourcing experience with expertise in influencing business strategy and vendor relations
• Highly honed negotiation skills, developed through significant corporate sourcing environment experience
• Proven experience leading cross divisional or functional teams
• Experience writing and generating RFPs, RFIs and RFQs to suppliers
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and project management skills
• Strong influencing skills that can be used to lead teams and build partnerships with internal resources and Credit One Bank’s supply base
• Deep understanding of procurement best practices, category management, spend analytics, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing methodologies
• Broad understanding of business issues, metrics, organizational linkages and customer value
• Uses knowledge of industry and market trends to develop and champion long-term strategies
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders across business and functional areas
