Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an analyst to support Procurement Analytics within the Strategy and Insights team of the Enterprise Transformation Office in Plano, TX. You will frame operational and strategic questions for senior leadership and collaborate to deliver analytics-driven insights.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, monitoring spend metrics, and influencing procurement strategies, with a hybrid work arrangement and in-office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or master's degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
• Knowledge of data query languages and tools (SQL and Snowflake).
• Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles, methodologies, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and recommendations to influence Enterprise Procurement strategies and goals.
• May be asked to present analysis in an understandable and concise manner to effectively influence others.
• With guidance, develop and produce dashboards and reports to support assessment and monitoring of operational and expense/spend metrics.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the current reporting infrastructure.
• Identify issues within existing tools, processes, data sources and voice suggestions to the team to improve accuracy, decrease latency, and reduce inefficiencies.
• Stay informed about procurement category market trends, identifying drivers for expense saving opportunities.
• Maintains close working relationships with data providers and partners.
• Query and validate large and complex datasets to deliver analytically sound insights.
• Support an inclusive, equitable, and high-performing culture.
