Job summary

hive + co in New Albany, Ohio seeks a SCPFO Procurement Analyst for a contract role supporting Procurement Consultants, Specialists, and Category Managers in sourcing and contracting initiatives. You will contribute to spend analytics, market complexity, data collection, performance metrics, and reporting.

You will assist with sourcing strategy development, decision making, and contract negotiations, and may lead or direct less complex sourcing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills; ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conducts market research and analyzes performance metrics to support strategy and decisions regarding suppliers and markets.
• Research spend and prior contracts to assist with contract negotiations.
• Develop and utilize models (e.g., pricing, total cost ownership).
• Builds and maintains reports to streamline analysis.
• Supports bid analysis, as needed.
• Communicates findings and recommendations of research and analysis to SCPFO and business partners.
• Collaborates with the SCPFO COE, Service Center, and business partners on projects to address recurring issues and improve efficiency.
