Job description

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing and negotiations, price and cost analysis, purchase orders, bid packages, and supplier performance, ensuring materials and services meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, and this is a Remote role in the US.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Sources, negotiates and purchases electrical components, wire and cable, machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
• Monitors performance of suppliers.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
• May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Evaluates areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
• Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• May prepare bid packages.
• Will work with many internal and external departments and customers.
• Some travel may be required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Procurement/buying experience.
• Must be a US Citizen
