Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support community setup and sourcing strategies in Bloomington, CA. This role focuses on cost analysis, supplier performance, and contract implementations to optimize community and division needs.

The position requires engagement with cross-functional teams and adherence to procurement policies. Onsite presence is required five days each week in office, with opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 homebuilder.

Qualifications

• Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through specific education and training.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 year of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and develop strategy including cost analysis and sourcing strategy, supporting Procurement Agents in decision-making.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics and market trends to identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier relationships, and enhanced efficiency.
• Manage community procurement-setup, including pricing validation and requirements for new communities.
• Implement sourcing strategies such as cost analysis, negotiation preparation, and implementation of contracts for community and division needs.
• Facilitate trade partner strategy and communication, to align with cost efficiencies, performance goals and legal requirements.
• Generate and interpret procurement reports to recommend actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor and track budget performance, identifying variances as well as developing and implementing corrective actions for assigned categories.
