The Procurement Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing and optimizing procurement processes, focusing on deal analysis, pricing exercises, and streamlining quote generation across our global supply chain network. Reporting to the Director of Procurement and supporting the Director of Supply Chain Operations, this role requires exceptional analytical skills, mastery of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual eager to grow with our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal and Pricing Analysis:
• Analyze incoming deals in the company’s procurement pipeline, evaluating cost structures, supplier proposals, and pricing options.
• Conduct pricing exercises to develop competitive quote sheets, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company profitability goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimal pricing strategies based on market trends and supplier capabilities.
• Excel-Based Analytics:
• Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, complex formulas) to create, maintain, and analyze procurement datasets.
• Build and refine pricing models, cost comparison tools, and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Automate repetitive tasks to streamline pricing and analysis processes, improving efficiency.
• Quote Sheet Development and Process Optimization:
• Design and produce accurate, professional quote sheets for customers, incorporating product specifications, pricing, and lead times.
• Streamline the pricing and quoting process by developing standardized templates and workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure quotes meet customer expectations and operational capabilities.
• Global Supply Chain Coordination:
• Analyze product options and supplier capabilities across global supply chain network in Asia and Latin America.
• Assess supplier lead times, production capacities, and compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP) to inform procurement decisions.
• Support the Director of Supply Chain Operations with data-driven insights for inventory planning and supplier negotiations.
• Reporting and Collaboration:
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing deal analyses, pricing recommendations, and procurement trends for leadership.
• Work closely with Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to align on project timelines, customer requirements, and operational goals.
• Proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the procurement process and escalate concerns to the Director of Procurement.

Qualifications:

Experience:

3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.

• Experience with global supply chains or international suppliers is a plus but not required.

Skills:

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, Power Query, etc.) and data visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and present findings clearly.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and pricing tools is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
