Job summary

Requirements

• Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

• Must obtain and maintain DAWIA Level II (CONTRACTING) within two years.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal Service which includes experience applying contracting regulations to contract actions; such as providing contracting advice or assistance to contracting personnel, preparing and providing procurement analysis of contract documents or files, or analyzing and interpreting acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

OR Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Management, Law, Contracting, etc.
