Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Procurement Analyst to support our Classified/Restricted programs within the Supply Chain Organization. The role covers all procurement aspects for internal and government customers, with emphasis on FAR compliance and IT/Hardware procurements.

The candidate will manage RFQs/RFPs, negotiate terms, and ensure customer satisfaction while contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of procurement experience/education in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years in government contracts and strategic procurement
• Experience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiation
• Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company
• Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support our internal stakeholders and government customers. We are looking for professionals with experience with FAR/Government procurement and/or experience procuring in software, cloud/Saas, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage and Non-IT Hardware.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.
• Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
• Management of RFQ/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution
• Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.
• Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.
• Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of procurement experience/education in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years in government contracts and strategic procurement
• Experience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiation
• Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company

The likely salary range for this position is $62,900 - $85,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
