Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This on-site role requires managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and supporting sourcing strategies.

The candidate will perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply, prepare information agreements, and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

  • More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers.
  • More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
  • More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
  • More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
Typical Education/Experience

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range

$64,600 - $79,800
