Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our Defense, Space & Security team. This 1st shift, onsite role focuses on contract negotiations, supplier management, and supporting sourcing strategies.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a proven track record with government contracts, including DoD terms and various contract types. Travel may be required.

• More than 1 year of experience negotiating contracts or managing suppliers.
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors.
• More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
• More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• More than 1 year of experience with various contract types (e.g. Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus).

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a â\200\234U.S. Personâ\200\235 as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. â\200\234U.S. Personâ\200\235 includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelorâ\200\231s degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
• More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
• More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
• More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more yearsâ\200\231 related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
