Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Procurement Agent for an Atlanta-based SR 400 Express Lanes project. You will evaluate vendors, enforce procurement policies, and manage analytics to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality materials for major infrastructure work.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields and 3+ years of construction experience, with strong MS Office skills; JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Construction Management.
• 3+ years of construction-related experience.
• Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and database use.
• JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Team player who can work independently to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for project use.
• Communicates and enforces procurement policies to district and project teams.
• Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
• Maintains records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under supervision of a procurement manager.

This landmark infrastructure project includes the design, construction, long-term operation, and maintenance of the corridor for 50 years, transforming a critical route and supporting mobility in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or others for use on projects.
• Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.
• Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
• Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager .

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business , Supply Chain or Construction Management preferred.
• 3+ year related construction experience preferred.
• Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization. JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
• Able to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions.
• Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.
