Job summary

Employment Enterprises is seeking a Proctor for a private research university in Washington, D.C. This seasonal position involves overseeing exam sessions to ensure a secure and disciplined testing environment for students.

The Proctor will supervise exam rooms, verify student IDs, explain exam instructions, and report any suspicious activity. Strong communication skills and prior experience in exam monitoring are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
• Good communication skills for interacting with students, faculty, and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, navigate stairs, and lift up to twenty pounds.
• Prior experience with exam monitoring or supervisory roles is preferred.

Our client is a private research university in Washington, D.C., recognized as a leading institution offering undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs across diverse fields. The Proctor will oversee exam sessions to ensure a secure and disciplined testing environment for students. This is an Seasonal position, onsite, based in Washington, DC, paying $18.40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor exam rooms to uphold integrity and a respectful environment.
• Verify student identification and oversee sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Explain exam instructions, distribute materials, and announce exam start and end times.
• Observe students during exams to prevent misconduct and address any issues with exam administrators or IT staff.
• Collect and organize completed exam materials and report any suspicious activity.
