Job summary

Cadence in Austin is seeking a Processor Core Logic Design/Architect to help shape next-generation processors. You will partner with the Chief Architect to identify opportunities for improvement and to architect, specify, and design enhancements for implementation.

Collaborating with validation and physical design teams, you will productize solutions and drive performance improvements across the core logic domain. Minimum 3 years of processor core logic design experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in processor core logic design.
• Strong knowledge in load/store, instruction fetch and branch prediction, memory management, or bus protocols.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization is a plus.

Position Requirements:

• Memory management
• Bus protocols
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization is a plus, including:
• Identifying performance bottlenecks
• Analyzing and modeling potential improvements
• Implementing solutions
• Requires strong architecture knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
