Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Damage/Returns Processor to support inbound McLane Drivers by unloading and accounting for returns and processing through the Damage/Returns Department.

The role offers a pay rate of $17.75 per hour, with benefits beginning on the 60th day and a 2nd shift schedule from 9:30pm to finish. We provide healthcare options, FSA/HSA, life insurance, paid holidays after 90 days, vacation and sick leave accrual from day one, and 401(k) with profit sharing after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Count, scan, and input item label information into a computerized system.
• Sort and stack totes; shrink-wrap pallets as needed.
• Transport product and totes to designated locations.
• Process product through the inventory tracking system.
• Record, document, and destroy damaged product.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Damage/Returns Processor assists inbound McLane Drivers to unload and account for products being returned from delivery or processed through the Damage/Returns Department.

What you'll do as a Warehouse Processor:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
