Precision Medicine Group in Frederick, Maryland is seeking a Processing Technician I to receive, inventory, and process fresh biological samples, including PBMCs and cryopreserved cells, and to support RNA/DNA extractions and related assays.
You will perform cell isolations, cryopreservation, counting, lab setup, and data collection using LIMS, while following aseptic technique and SOPs; teamwork and attention to detail are essential.
The Processing Technician I is responsible for receiving, inventorying, and processing fresh patient samples and nonclinical samples for Accucell line of cryopreserved cells. They will perform PMBC or cell subset isolations, plasma fractionations, serum separations, cell thawing, cell counting, and generate whole blood aliquots. Additionally, this role may handle nonclinical samples such as whole blood units and leukopaks for generation of Accucell line products of cryopreserved cells. The position also supports RNA/DNA extractions and assays such as ELISAs.
