Job summary

The Sazerac Company is seeking a Processing Technician in Lewiston, ME. You'll blend, batch, and filter to prepare products for bottling, working with cross-functional teams to meet safety and quality standards.

You'll operate according to approved formulas, monitor inventories, and document activities while supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. Must be 21+, with at least 2 years in manufacturing and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing, processing, or batching environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Preferred: experience with processing, batching, or blending operations.
• Preferred: knowledge of GMP/HACCP or food/beverage manufacturing standards.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending, batching, filtering, and transfer processes according to approved formulas, SOPs, and production schedules.
• Monitor inventory, tank readings, bulk receiving, and documentation to support accurate production and lab approvals.
• Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, quality, GMP, and environmental standards while keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Support operational goals by helping improve efficiency, reduce waste, and collaborate across departments to meet production targets.

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Processing Technician helps keep operations running smoothly by blending, batching, filtering, and preparing products for bottling. This role offers hands‑on involvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with opportunities to build technical skills and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure products meet safety, quality, and production standards while supporting efficient daily operations.

Schedule: 2-2-3 Work Schedule

• Day Shift: 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM.

What You’ll Do

The hourly rate for this role is $25.27. There is a $2 shift differential for night shift.
