Job summary

Reliant Processing in Brandon, MS seeks a Full-Time Processing - Technical Specialist - I&E (Instrument and Electrical) to manage process instrumentation, control systems and electrical operations across multiple facilities. This onsite role offers hands-on work with advanced equipment and collaboration with a dedicated team to meet safety and quality standards.

Candidates should bring at least 7 years of related experience and a technical degree or training.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related work experience required.
• Technical degree or training preferred.
• Proficiency in installing cabling and conduit 1/2" to 4" and terminating wiring from schematics.

Responsibilities

• Manage process instrumentation, control systems, and electrical operations across facilities.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safety and reliability across multiple states.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace instruments, controls, and electrical devices (motors, starters, VFDs, MCC buckets, transformers, switchgear, relays, panels) from 120V to 4160V.

What matters most

To excel as a Technical Specialist at Reliant Processing, you should possess a combination of technical skills and hands-on experience. A minimum of 7 years of related work experience is essential, with a technical degree or training preferred. Proficiency in installing cabling and conduit (ranging from 1/2" to 4") and terminating electrical wiring according to detailed drawings and schematics is crucial.

You will also need strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose, repair, and replace various instruments, controls, and electrical devices, including motors, starters, VFDs, MCC buckets, transformers, switchgear, relays, switches, and electrical panels operating at voltages from 120V to 4160V. Additionally, you should be skilled in performing motor to equipment alignments to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency in our operations.
