Job summary

Reliant Processing seeks a Full-Time Processing - Technical Specialist - I&E (Instrument and Electrical) to lead instrumentation, control systems, and electrical operations across our facilities. This onsite role involves hands-on work with advanced technology and collaboration with a dedicated team to meet safety and quality standards.

You will install cabling, terminate wiring per schematics, troubleshoot a range of devices, and perform motor alignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of related work experience.
• Technical degree or training preferred.
• Proficiency in installing cabling and conduit (1/2" to 4").
• Experience terminating electrical wiring from detailed drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee process instrumentation, control systems, and electrical operations.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple facilities to ensure safety and reliability.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace instruments, controls, and electrical devices (motors, VFDs, MCC buckets, transformers, switchgear).
• Perform motor-to-equipment alignments to optimize performance.

Reliant has the team of experienced CO2 specialists ready to provide innovative solutions to harness available carbon dioxide and transform it into a useful product. We can provide a solid design conveniently packaged to align with your unique scenarios and specification requirements. The finished projects are then marketed through our Reliant Gases, Reliant Dry Ice, and FLOCO2 entities. What matters most

To excel as a Technical Specialist at Reliant Processing, you should possess a combination of technical skills and hands‑on experience. A minimum of 7 years of related work experience is essential, with a technical degree or training preferred. Proficiency in installing cabling and conduit (ranging from 1/2" to 4") and terminating electrical wiring according to detailed drawings and schematics is crucial.

You will also need strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose, repair, and replace various instruments, controls, and electrical devices, including motors, starters, VFDs, MCC buckets, transformers, switchgear, relays, switches, and electrical panels operating at voltages from 120V to 4160V. Additionally, you should be skilled in performing motor to equipment alignments to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency in our operations.
