Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners is seeking a Processing Team Member to produce raw meat products in a cold environment, handling receiving, grinding, mixing, stuffing, linking, cooking, and documentation to meet customer specs and USDA regulations.

Responsibilities include pre-op inspections, inventory management with Vista Trac, labeling, and ensuring food safety and production efficiency. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing or food processing environment is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow batch recipes and SOPs.
• Familiarity with Vista Trac inventory system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and adjust processing equipment to meet batch specifications.
• Receive ingredients and complete required documentation and inspections.
• Weigh, grind, mix, and stuff meat per batch formulas and product requirements.
• Label, tag, and verify product racks and packaging for accuracy and compliance.
• Stock inventory, scan ingredients, and maintain FIFO inventory practices.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas according to GMPs and SOPs.
