Express Employment Professionals Downtown Baton Rouge seeks a Processing Supervisor for a local client in Baker, LA. The role oversees 5–8 machine operators and warehouse personnel involved in receipt, storage, processing, and packaging of products.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse/manufacturing and a related degree. compensation ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations with the Operations Manager.
• Directly supervise processing staff including performance management, employee development, and training.
• Review production schedules and staffing needs to complete work.
• Interpret specifications and communicate requirements to staff.
• Improve production processes and equipment efficiency.
• Maintain inventory accountability via processing reports and cycle counts.
• Monitor labor time and improve productivity.
• Oversee order processing to maximize material utilization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
• Ensure tooling and materials accountability.
• Coach staff in quality systems and production standards.
• Assist with department duties to meet deadlines.
