Job summary

The Processing Supervisor at America’s Thrift Stores oversees daily production activities, ensuring fast, accurate processing and quality control in a retail setting. You will coach team members, monitor performance, and uphold company values across operations.

You will manage inventory levels, assist in recruitment and training, schedule staff, and support promotions while maintaining safety and merchandise standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory/lead role in retail or industrial processing.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and computer skills are required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to assess, observe, and coach others effectively.
• Ability to follow and apply instructions, both written and verbal.
• Strong decision‑making skills, with sound judgment.
• Background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production team activities.
• Manage inventory tracking systems to monitor deliveries and stock levels.
• Analyze inventory levels and anticipate shortages or issues; take proactive steps.
• Communicate targets and progress to team members.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members.
• Schedule team members according to labor requirements.
• Capable of performing all tasks required of processing team members.
• Coach and recognize team members for performance.
• Maintain merchandise condition, pricing, and shop‑ability.
• Support store management with sales and marketing promotions and programs.
