Steel and Pipe Supply's Tulsa Service Center is seeking a Brake Press Processing Specialist for 1st shift. You will operate brake presses to form steel parts, read prints and production documents, and verify parts with tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.

Starting at $20+/hour based on experience, this hands-on role offers overtime opportunities and long-term career potential in a stable, industrial environment.

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing position where your brake press experience and attention to detail are valued?

Steel and Pipe Supply is looking for a dependable Brake Press Processing Specialist to join our 1st Shift team. In this role, you'll operate brake press equipment, process custom steel parts, verify quality and measurements, and help make sure our customers receive the right parts, processed correctly and on time.

What You’ll Do:

As a Brake Press Processing Specialist, you'll work hands-on with steel products and custom orders to help ensure parts are formed, processed, and prepared correctly for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate a brake press to form and bend steel according to specifications
• Read and understand prints, drawings, and production documents
• Measure and verify finished parts using a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer
• Stage and process custom-ordered production parts
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality
• Properly clean and prepare processed material
• Keep produced parts organized and accounted for
• Stage finished material in the correct location
• Assist with packaging completed customer orders
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements
• Maintain an organized and productive work area
• Work with team members to keep production moving efficiently

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a brake press to form steel
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer
• Ability to read and understand prints, drawings, and production documents
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and safety-conscious
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

Physical & Work Environment

This is a hands-on industrial position. Applicants should be comfortable with:

• Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day
• Frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling material weighing up to 51 lbs.
• Working in dirty industrial conditions
• Exposure to changing temperatures and the elements
• A fast-paced production environment
• Physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
