Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply's Tulsa Service Center in Catoosa, OK is seeking a Processing Specialist for the 1st shift. This full-time, on-site role involves staging, processing and packaging customer parts, ensuring accurate counts and timely delivery.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package include 401(k) with 50% company match up to 6% of wages, medical coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and vacation after 6 months and after

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret prints/drawings.
• Able to read and use a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staging, processing, and packaging of custom ordered parts.
• Ensure produced parts are accounted for, cleaned properly, and staged correctly.
• Maintain accurate counts to deliver the right parts at the right time.
• Work in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment.
• Operate safely and follow company procedures.

What is a Processing Specialist?

Processing Specialists assist with staging, processing, and packaging custom ordered production parts. By making sure all produced parts are accounted for, cleaned properly, staged in the right place, ensures our customers get the right parts at the right time.

What can you expect from the job?

Exposure to the elements

Dirty working conditions

Fast-paced, moderately stressful, working environment

Lots of walking and standing - up to 8 hours a day

Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling material up to 51 lbs.

What are the requirements?

Valid driver's license

High school diploma/GED

Able to read and use a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer

Able to read and understand prints, documents, and drawings

Basic computer skills

Demonstrated experience operating brake press to form steel
