Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a Processing Operator 1 in Kentwood, MI to operate and troubleshoot packaging lines, follow GMP and HACCP standards, and support continuous production. You will train teammates and ensure product quality and safety on a fast-paced line.

The role requires flexibility with schedule and readiness to handle paperwork and line maintenance, with opportunities to grow within a multi-line manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Follow GMP, HACCP and packaging standards in daily tasks.
• Operate and troubleshoot line equipment on the production floor.
• Maintain accurate line paperwork and logs under supervision.
• Train new/current employees on equipment and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all elements of Food Safety to ensure GMP, HACCP and proper packaging standards are met.
• Train new/current employees on all equipment with Foreman and Supervisor oversight.
• Must be proficient in running the listed jobs/equipment including fillers, sealers, end-of-line, and case erectors.
• Ensure the machine is clean and inspect all equipment before and after product run.
• Communicate clearly with Production leadership and other departments.
