Job summary

Versova in the United States is seeking a Processing Lead to oversee processing operations, Break Room Operations, Tanker Bay operations, and assist with Transfer Room activities. This role requires knowledge of all plant positions to train, coach, and direct staff to maintain processing operations and meet schedules.

The Lead will ensure product flow, fixed CIP system operation, safety compliance, and collaboration with USDA inspectors and QA teams.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • 2+ years of food processing or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to drive a shag truck and back in trailers.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., twist, bend, and work in various climate conditions.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

This position operates in a food processing plant environment, involving exposure to various temperatures, including extreme heat and cold. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects. The Processing Lead must be comfortable working with processing equipment and adhering to strict food safety protocols. The job may involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet production demands.
