Job summary

Versova is seeking a Breaking Machine Loader at our Sioux Center egg processing facility. You will load flats of eggs onto the breaking belt, remove empty flats, salvage eggs, and keep the area clean and organized to maintain production flow.

The role requires basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in manufacturing or food processing is a plus; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Working in an egg processing facility, the Breaking Machine Loader is responsible for loading flats of eggs onto the breaking machine and removing empty flats while ensuring the belts run efficiently. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization around the breaking machine area.


Essential Job Functions



  • Load flats of eggs onto the breaking belt with minimal jams

  • Remove empty flats from the belt after eggs have been loaded into the breaking machine

  • Salvage any eggs left on the flats

  • Maintain a clean breaking area floor by removing eggs and washing according to company specifications

  • Participate in cross-training and position rotation as required

  • Comply with USDA regulations, industry best manufacturing practices, and the Food Defense Program

  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications



  • 0-1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment
