Job summary

Vital Farms - Current Crew Members is seeking a Processing Associate on the night shift to operate in our Egg Central Station facility in Springfield, MO. You will work twelve-hour shifts, loading, sorting, and packing pasture-raised eggs, while maintaining sanitary conditions and quality checks.

The role offers a night differential, holiday pay, healthcare from day one, a 401(k) with 3% company contribution, paid time off, free eggs, and biweekly crew lunches.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and food quality reasons.
• 1 year of work experience in a production and or manufacturing environment.
• You’re able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs.
• Be flexible and execute other duties and production tasks required.
• Basic math skills. Adding. Subtracting. Basic division.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs.
• Keep sanitary conditions for optimal food production.
• Ensure our eggs meet the standards by carefully following our procedures and performing quality checks.
• Perform inspections on supplies and ready for use.
• Operate powered jacks to move supplies and product within the warehouse.
• Other duties as required. Things come up, but you’re flexible and you always find a way to make things work

What You’ll Do (Job Overview):

As aProcessing Associateat Vital Farms, you will work within our state-of-the-art manufacturing and production facility to wash, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs from our family farms. This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) is critical in bridging the gap from local family farms to grocery stores for our consumers. You’ll be on your feet during each twelve-hour shift, moving, lifting, loading and working with air-conditioned and sunlight-filled warehouse.

• Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
• Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
• Shifts: 12 hour shifts
  
  • Day Crew - 6am to 6pm
  • Night Crew- 6pm to 6am
